The CHIPS and Science Act authorizes over $280B of federal funds in support of domestic R/D and semiconductor manufacturing. Included in this law is a legal definition of the term "emerging research institution".
An Emerging Research Institution or ERI is defined as an institution of higher education with an established undergraduate or graduate program that has less than $50M in Federal research expenditures.
By joining forces and sharing our expertise, we can ensure more access to more money for more Emerging Research Institutions.
